2020 B Grade Update - Part 1

Still Maintaining a Premiership window the B Grade team have been that close each of the last 4 seasons. suffering upsets in both the Grandfinal and semi final series. Now without 3 of their top 5 2019 leading scorers in Chris Lee  (A grade), Peter Boyle (year off) and James Gunton (Blackhawks). They're also without Lukas Mojzisek (A grade), Thomas Williams (A Grade), Lada Pekarek (A grade) and Rob Koudelka (C Grade). The question will now be can the new members coming in keep the B Grade team strong.

Joining the B Grade team is Dan Waterman (Jokers) and an array of C Grade graduates in Mitch Riley, Craig Mehary, Luke Hallion and Kelsey Marshall. We also welcome back David Bianchi and Anthony Kunda after some time off. 2020 Bantam pick James Williams will be managed between the A Grade and B Grade teams, who will be important to the success of the B Grade finals campaign.

B Ladder.jpg

With the Falcons not fielding a B Grade team in 2020 it ensures a close 4 team competition. The Redwings sit pretty on top but this year so far has proven any team can win on the night.

Is time running out to attain the Cup? The B Grade cant afford too many more 'came this close' seasons. Theres still plenty in the tank and hopefuly 2020 is the year.

Chad McMurren leads the team with 6 points in 7 games, Joker recruit Dan Waterman has made an immediate impact with his 5 points. Jolyon Oakleys 4 points in his 1 game appearance are good enough to tie him for 3rd on the team in scoring with Matt Gardiner.

Part 2 update to come after round 11.
