Lehmann, Coonan selected to Australian Team 

 

Our awesome Redwings Ladies are back at it, both to represent the National Australian Women's Team in the IIHF Division 2 Group A Championships. The tournament will take place in South Korea from the 2nd of April until the 9th.

Lehmann currently commits to the Adelaide Rush in the AWIHL, however her season; first as Captain, was cut short due to a broken leg. Managing 5 games for 1 assist for the already depleted Rush.

 

Coonan on the other hand is currently playing for the Lindenwood Lynx in the ACHA Division one. With 7 games to her credit, Coonan boasts some impressive numbers with a perfect 7 from 7 she is the only goaltender with out a loss to her name, 4 shut outs, a 1.00 GAA and a .941SV%.

Natalie Ayris (Adelaide Falcons and Adelade Rush) and Kate Tihema (Adelaide Falcons and Lindenwood Lynx) will both join our girls on the team.

Team Australia will take on the likes of both North and South Korea, Netherlands, Slovenia and Great Britain.
