Currently sitting tied for third place after 7 games, The team has let some golden opportunities go begging including an OT loss to the Jokers and a barn burner loss to the lowly Blackhawks.

The Falcons are another team to not be complacent about. Our first clash saw them with out their starting premier tender. If the first 7 games are anything to go by we are in for a tight race for a finals spot and ultimately in control of our own fate.

Premier League Update - Part 1

The Premier team has seen one of the bigger overhauls of teams for 2020. The decisions for Premier League to be moved from Wednesday nights to Saturday evenings forced an array of players to opt out of the season due to work commitments including forward Nicola Pau, Defencemen Tom Tait, Chris Carrison and goaltenders Andrew Glass and Curtis Villani. While the McGuinness brothers have also opted to sit out the 2020 season. Our Captain Trevor Walsh after a successful return to hockey in Adelaide decided that it was his time to step away from the game.

Promoted from the A grade team we have Mark Godfrey, Kieran McCaw, Nick Pedder and Jared Lowe and American import Ryan Rintala who is currently living in Adelaide. Johnny Cousins has stepped up as our goaltender, taking on the reigns of both Prem and B grade goalie. We hope over the next few games to add 2019 Bantam draftee Chris Campbell to the side pending his playing up approval.

Dave Gal and Steve Best are both tied for 14 points for leading scorer on the team. Followed by Jeff Pellerin who has a team leading 6 goals to go with his 10 points. 2x league MVP Tyler Leeming and Defenceman Ryan Rintala trail with 9 and 8 points respectively.

Part 2 update to come after round 11.
