2014 A Grade Grand Final
The A Grade Season has come to an end with the Redwings losing the Grand Final to the Tigers in two straight games.

Game 1 Recap:
The boys come out slow and were over whelmed by a fired up Tigers team, by just over half way through the first the Tigers had already notched 3 goals before Steve Best got the Redwings on the board in the final minute of the period. The game was given even more flavour when Steve Best once again found the net and brought the game back to 3-2. Unfortunately it was down hill from there with the Tigers pouring on another 3 goals. At 19:59 in the third tempers flared when Ari Pullinen hit Dion Palmer from behind. Pullinen received a match penalty and was suspended for 2 games.
Game 2 Recap:
Looking to prolong the season by one more game the team came out hard, made some great plays and were rewarded early in the first period with Captain Sami Mantere finding the back of the net. A few defensive lapses late in the first had the Tigers score 2 quick goals, both by Ryan Foll. Through out the second period a combined 4 goals were traded between the two teams setting up a thrilling third period. Both Goaltenders stood on their heads as both teams were pressing to score either the game tying goal or the put away goal. The Redwings pulled Andrew Glass from the net for a 6 on 5 advantage but the Tigers were able to hang on an claim their 4th consecutive A Grade Premiership.
